Without a doubt, it puts a lot more pressure on the defense. They have to make plays all the time. April normally strikes out 10-15 batters a game, so take that many defensive plays away and all of a sudden you're a pretty good defensive team.

I tip my hat to Janine for going out there and pitching her heart out. I want to focus on her and her guts. She had the will to go out there and pitch. It's a tough spot for her.

She's going to keep us in a lot of games.
